Guidelines:
•
We post all responses that contribute to discussion
of the topic as soon as we can.
•
Responses may be reprinted and distributed
as hard copy at a later date.
•
All responses must provide a name and email
address which will be published.
•
We reserve the right to edit responses before
publication.
•
Once published responses will not be re-edited
or withdrawn.
•
Any competing financial interests must be
declared.
Notes on competing financial interests:
We believe that it is important that competing
interests are declared because these may influence
judgment. Please declare any financial benefits
you have received in the last five years from
any organisation which may gain or lose financially
as result of opinions expressed in the report
you are commenting on, or, as a result of
opinions expressed by you in your response.
Such benefits include salary, fees paid for
lectures, for attending symposia, for consultations,
for organising events, or research funds given
to you or members of your staff. Please also
reveal any ownership of stocks or shares that
could be considered to constitute a competing
interest. Any relationship or academic rivalry
that might be embarrassing should it become
known after publication should also be declared
at this stage.
